Music plays a large part in the lives of Kendalian students, with music lessons from a qualified teacher twice a week, as well as a weekly assembly. There are many strands in the music curriculum, including performing, composing, song-singing and dance!
Pupils are also invited to take up instruments of their own in private lessons offered by specialised tutors twice a week during the school day.
The walls of the halls and classrooms of Kendale International display the importance of art and creativity in the curriculum. This is underlined by the various trips to galleries and museums during the year, and the wonderful yearly Art Week.
In December the whole school participates in a Christmas play while at the end of the year each class presents its own drama production.
